Something came over me and I suddenly became passionately interested in drawing fruit. Carmen was the natural subject for this Illustrator bookcover. The title and text content come from a press release for a PBS television special a few years back. I traced a black and white photo of Carmen to begin my characterization of her. Look for the same fruit making another appearance inside one of my Flash movies.
